The Path To Communication

"I hear and I forget,  I see and I remember, I do and I understand."  - Confucius

These days there are numerous ways to communicate with others but face to face is still preferable to the internet and text messaging.  Although face to face communication has somehow lost its fizz there should be a revitalization of this method of communication.  In the workforce, previously, the norm was business luncheons with healthy comprise and debate but now it's teleconferencing either at work or from home.  Physical dating and social gatherings to the movies and dinner have been replaced by cyberdating and web cams, and quality time spent with loved ones have been replaced by social networking sites.

The cycle of life will continue to be in existence but maintaining the importance of face to face contact doesn't need to be a distant memory in the wake of the latest and greatest technological advances.  Instead it can comprehensively join all communication forms under one roof.  We can utilize each form if we make a conscious effort to write, speak, text and call each other as a mode of effective and efficient communication in our lives.
