Executive Decision
"Before you do anything, think. If you do something to try and impress someone, to be loved, accepted or even to get someone's attention, stop and think. So many people are busy trying to create an image, they die in the process." - Salma Hayek
On a daily basis, we have the important role of making decisions throughout every aspect of our lives. We decide what to wear, what to eat, when to sleep as well as with whom we associate. Some decisions are easy while others are more challenging. It is during those times that executive decisions need to be made. This is when the cost may be high impacting not only ourselves but the lives of others.
Executive decisions tend to impact both the mind and the heart where the two are in a state of conflict influencing moral, ethical, legal, emotional and/or spiritual values resulting in misgivings should the wrong decision be made. We find ourselves turning the tides to take the most convenient or easy way out versus shifting to the mind over matter model, thinking things through clearly.
Challenge the process and react out of forethought and clarity versus emotion and instant gratification.
