Business As Usual?

"Happy is the person who knows what to remember of the past, what to enjoy in the present, and what to plan for in the future."
- Arnold H. Glasgov

Traditionally we live each and every day as "business as usual," but is it and what does that statement really mean?  Business as usual is so cliche' when we stop and think about our past, our present and our future for each of those three elements when diagnosed in its entirety make up the very being of who we are and will become as individuals.

We tend to gloss over our past without reflecting on the memories, the learning we received from the experiences, and cherishing not only those that touched us but who we may have touched as well.

We tend to bypass the present without living in the here and now; appreciating and enjoying all that life has to offer because we are always in a rush.  We don't always take the time to stop and smell the flowers, embrace the beauty that surrounds us daily, and spend quality time to talk and fellowship with those around us.

We tend to think about the future without taking the steps to necessarily plan for the future.  We dream and brainstorm without physically taking action.

Happiness comes when we can actively remember, reflect, and live.

Business as usual can get u into a mundane lifestyle. It will put your dreams on hold by your own hands. It comes from a fearful place. Once you take the time to reflect on how your past and present has had an influence who you are now, it can open up many windows for you. I think this is what couples call "growing apart". one person starts reflecting and after that, it's hard to think about anything else but what your possibilities could really be!!

Yes makes sense... but remember life is about choices - you can choose to use your past as a crutch or as a strength to learn from and move you forward.  It's all about how YOU decide to reflect on your past, live in the present and plan for your future.. it doesn't have to be a bad thing but what you may need to take you to the next level.

There are definitely a whole lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a nice point to deliver up. I offer the thoughts above as basic inspiration however clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where an important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I'm positive that your job is clearly recognized as a good game. Each boys and girls feel the impact of only a second’s pleasure, for the remainder of their lives. .
