What's Love Got To Do With It?
"Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections." -- Author Unknown
The word "LOVE" overtime has been so misused and misunderstood on so many different levels that many are afraid to use the word anymore let alone trust that the very word means anything at all. Is it "LOVE," when you're in a relationship yet still venture off to - other pastures - whenever the mood is right?
The verdict is still out. Some say yes while others say no. Many times the explanation is "it didn't' mean anything," or "it was only one time," or the common phrase "it wasn't me" but does that make it right? The answer... no.
Regardless if you're a male or female, infidelity is something that people may forgive but will never forget. It's an action that can leave others angry, powerless, useless, hurt, used, etc... For some, it can result in a series of negative reactions (eg. fatality, abuse, hatred, depression, retaliation, etc) while in others it may produce increased strength, power, determination and assertiveness.
The reaction is different for different people and is also situationally based. Sometimes you will never know the deep impact it has laid on the other until it is too late.
It's important to define what the word means to you and set your values accordingly as to what your looking for in a relationship. What are you willing to tolerate? What are your boundaries? What are you willing to sacrifice, if anything?
It's important to be clear of what you want and hold yourself to a certain standard of how you want and should be treated.
